Mission Statement
Children’s Cancer Community was founded in 1997 under the name of Sonoma Children’s Cancer Foundation by Michelle Bertrand, then a 13-year-old leukemia survivor, and Steve Webster, a friend of the Bertrand family who had survived Lyme’s disease at a young age.
