What our families are saying about us:

“We would like to thank Children’s Cancer Community for all its help through our journey.  They have given us support, a shoulder to cry on and many wonderful activities that made us feel ‘normal’ again.”

“When I was in cancer treatments, the Children's Cancer Community was a group of strangers; a community who nonetheless sent me cards, meals, phone calls, who fundraised for my family, who comforted me by the very fact that such a group existed - and in my very own home town! - of cancer survivors, of families who knew exactly what we were going through, because they too had been there, had survived.”

“The love and support that CCC has given us has been a God-sent to us.  I was going to wait to open the gift basket you all gave us until Christmas, but with John’s urging I opened it when we got home.  What a surprise!  Christmas in a basket.  All the things we needed the most help with.  Thank you all so much.  It is perfect and so much appreciated.”

“I don’t know who was responsible for the gift cards for the families, but all I can say is “Wow!”  We completely did not expect that, and were blown away by the generosity.  We wanted you to know how grateful we really are.  We also had a fantastic time at the party!  The food, entertainment, and visit from Santa were all great!  Thank you for everything!”

“Thank you CCC so much for the gifts from the party.  I wanted to let you know that the family gift was greatly appreciated and definitely came in good use.  Our family is a single income [family] falling short during the holiday season and the gift cards were a wonderful surprise.”

"What we are trying to do may be just a drop in the ocean, but the ocean would be less because of that missing drop.” - Mother Teresa
